Frisco Freedom Fest is returning for its ninth year, but moving to the Saturday before Independence Day.

Movies on the Square takes place in downtown Frisco on Saturday nights all summer. Get the scoop!

Last week, we told you about the Frisco Farmer’s Market and all the great stuff you can get there while eating healthier, eating local, and supporting small family-owned businesses. Today, we’re going to tell you about how to shop a farmer’s market wisely. This isn’t like rolling up to Sprouts! There are some tips and tricks to improve your market experience…

The Frisco Farmers Market opened last Saturday, and they will be bringing you fresh, local foods every Saturday between now and October 23. Hosted by Frisco Square and presented by the Frisco Noon Lions Club, you can visit the Farmers Market and meet local vendors carrying vegetables, fruits, fresh eggs, pasture-fed meats, and all manner of homemade goods.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Head over to Lochrann’s and get your Irish on. “Lóchrann” is Gaeilge (Irish) for “lantern” and is owned by the McNabb family of Frisco. They are a great community partner, always supporting local businesses and charity events, and the pub is warm and welcoming at all hours.

Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? Check out the first Arts in the Square festival at Frisco Square. There will be live entertainment, food vendors, and kids’ activities. 80’s pop favorites the Romantics will perform at 4:00 pm on Saturday.

Patriarch’s Sanctuary is a new bar opening on Frisco Square this weekend. We’ve toured the place, so if gorgeous European antiques, hand-scraped woods, artisan stained glass, custom cocktails, and a baby grand piano are your thing, we can safely say you’re going to love it. There are no televisions on the wall; if you absolutely can’t tear yourself away from The Game or The News, you’ll have to go elsewhere… but in our humble opinion, that’s a plus, not a minus.

Do you have a dancing queen or king at home? Take a tour of the brand-new studio at Next Step Dance in Frisco Square, this Sunday.

Mark your calendars for the second annual Lochrann’s Paddy Dash! Sponsored by Frisco Sunrise Rotary, this event is a fundraiser for Frisco Family Services.
