There is an exciting new cultural facility opening next month in Frisco… and of course a grand opening deserves a grand party.

The Frisco Discovery Center will house the Frisco Arts, a 100-seat Frisco Black Box Theater for community theater groups, Frisco Art Gallery for visual art exhibits and Sci-Tech Discovery Center, the hands-on science and technology discovery center. It opens to the public on Saturday, October 2.

On Friday, October 1, the Frisco Community Development Corporation presents a special opportunity to preview the new Discovery Center: “A Renaissance Experience.” The evening features wine, tastes, art, science, and auction, and will benefit Frisco Arts.

VIP guests will be able to tour the new facility, experience hands-on activities at Sci-Tech Discovery Center, meet local artists, bid on art, welcome the new Frisco Art Starters inductees, and dance the night away in the new Frisco Black Box Theatre. Attire is cocktail chic.

Tickets are $100 per person, and include food, bar, entertainment, and valet—but company sponsorships are available with preferred seating (contact the director of Frisco Arts for more info).

And all proceeds will benefit the 20+ arts groups in Collin County that receive grants from Frisco Arts.

You should plan to go… because you know you don’t want to fight TX-OU traffic down in Dallas that night anyway.
