Up, Up and Away

What little or big kid doesn't love to watch airplanes?

What little or big kid doesn't love to watch airplanes?

Still pondering a fun Father’s Day weekend activity that will entertain both the kids and their father? (No, a mani/pedi doesn’t fit the bill.)

Check out the 2010 Denton Air Fair & Airshow happening this Saturday, June 19.

“Headlining the performances will be the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II West Coast Demonstration Team. Other performers include Mike “Spanky” Galloway in this Pitts S2C, Jason Newberg in his T-28C Trojan, the Texas Twisters Formation Team, locals Julia and Tony Woods, Kate Kyers, Andrew Wright, the Flight of the Phoenix Escadrille Team, and many others.”

Admission is $8 for adults and kids, and children under 6 are free. In addition to the flying show, there will be aircraft and vendors on the ground.

And, for $35, you can have a helicopter ride! (Assuming Dad doesn’t have a fear of flying.)

Celebrate Father’s Day with a memorable day out to Denton. Flying is fun!
