There’s very little to write in addition to the title, because that explains it all. Stitch/Craft shares an awesomely fun and easy ice cream party they recently hosted. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, just friends, fun and frozen treats.

Perfect for kids and summer! Smart moms will put this idea up their sleeve for one of those summer days when the novelty of the break has worn off and the family trip is weeks past or ahead. Let the kids help make and deliver invitations to the neighborhood pals, and help shop for the ice cream flavors.

In addition to standard toppings like sprinkles, M&Ms, chopped peanuts and hot fudge, consider some of the following:

•  Strawberries, blueberries, banana slices, candied orange, pineapple chunks
•  Magic Shell
•  Breakfast cereals like Captain Crunch, Cocoa Puffs, Fruity Pebbles

Don’t forget to have plenty of napkins on hand, and a cooler of water to combat ice cream thirst! Happy scooping!
