Global Peace Factory

As we mentioned two weeks ago, there is a new coffeehouse in town that you absolutely must check out. It’s called Global Peace Factory, located on Legacy just north of 121, in the same strip as Kenny’s Burger Joint.

The first, most important things to know are that the coffee and food are excellent, and already receiving good reviews. And they have free wifi and ample parking… so all the “standards” that you need in a good java shop.

But the next important thing to know is that they have lots of great places to sit and hang out—whether for meetings, a quiet chat, or just reading the paper or a book.

The upstairs loft area has loads of tables and chairs, which would be ideal for a club event or Bible study meeting.

And you should know that they have a really vibrant décor. Loads of natural light throughout, and of course all the silver chrome and bright orange, with original artwork and photographs taken by the owner himself… not your average dark, mopey café. It’s a perfect place to think creative thoughts, be inspired, and make big plans.

This cozy nook was just begging for a book and an espresso.

And last, but not at all the least, is that the owner’s name is Bernard and he is a really nice guy who has made a commitment to the community.

They plan to give 2% of all sales back to local charities, and have also joined the Chamber of Commerce. And y’all know we just can’t resist a charitable, locally-owned small business!

So, think Global, caffeinate local. It’s the Savvy way!

Added: Coincidentally, we just learned that Global Peace Factory will have their official ribbon cutting tomorrow and is also hosting a Business After Hours for the Frisco Chamber afterward! See what we mean about good community partner? Go by and check them out!

  1. Global Peace Factory is so proud to be apart of the Frisco Community. We have had a great first few months, and we continue to grow and expand. Thank all of you for being so supportive, and by helping us make a difference in the world.

As an update we have now have a full liquor license. We are a private club. We have started to work on our evening menu, so be ready for some delicious surprises. In the meantime, we keep serving those delicious panini and sandwiches. We offer a great selection of fine wines, unique beers such as Lhassa or Bombshell, without forgetting what has already been reconized by those who tried it as a must, our Espresso Martini.

Once again all of our sales benefit a local charity… so what are you waiting for? Every Cup Counts!
