If you haven’t already been to Kenny’s Burger Joint on Legacy, you are really missing out. This spot has all the qualities you want in your favorite burger shop: tasty meat, excellent fries, variety of amazing toppings (hello fried egg) and creative and classic bar service.

Our personal fave items are the spicy white Bud’s Queso, the cheese fries, the mushroom burger, and the bacon cheeseburger. We hear the turkey burger is also excellent.

You have to leave room for the Adult Milkshakes though, which come spiked. Our faves are the Insomniac (Bailey’s, Kahlua, espresso vodka, chocolate ice cream) and the old version of the Naughty Mommy (360 Double Chocolate vodka, Frangelico, cookie dough and vanilla ice cream. The new version has strawberry and cheesecake and sounds pretty tasty also.).

If you have already been to Kenny’s and you know how swell it is, then tell the world! D Magazine has selected Kenny’s as one of their finalists in the Best Burger competition for their annual “Best of Big D” Food and Drink issue coming out in August.

If you live in the CoCo or the DeCo, you owe it to your neighborhood businesses to let the rest of the Metroplex know that we are, in fact, where it’s at.

Especially when the burgers are as good as Kenny’s.
