Don’t Be Late for a Very Important Date!
But in case you haven’t, we’re here to help! (Savvy dads can also execute in the clutch)
First, get all the details here. You can visit this website to purchase tickets if you haven’t already (thank heavens that the online ticket service is available… we used to have to stand in line in the cold at the Velodrome at Collin College to get them in person!). The Star-Enterprise reported yesterday that there are still tickets left. Remaining tickets (if there are any) will be sold onsite at the event.
Don’t forget flowers! A big part of the Daddy-Daughter Dance is the corsage. Check with Kroger’s, Patti Ann’s on Main Street, and Frisco Flowers and Blooms. When you order, be sure to specify how old your daughter is (so they can attach the correct size of elastic wrist band) and what color her dress is. Get a boutonniere for yourself too, of course!
And… don’t forget dinner plans. With the little ones whose dances are in the early afternoon, you might elect to eat at home, but for the older girls, a night out in fancy clothes isn’t complete without dinner.
Randy’s Steakhouse is offering a great special just for the Daddy-Daughter Dance: for $49.95, you get dinner for two, including a petite and regular filet mignon (you can sub chicken fingers for the smaller steak!), french fries or mashed potatoes, broccoli and choice of three desserts. Make your reservations online here.
These are the nights that memories are made of!
