I Love a Parade

Usually held close to Veterans’ Day, the Frisco parade is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate patriotism and community pride. Floats, cars, marching bands, and all the fun you would expect from a proper parade will be on tap.

Windows Shopping

One Savvy way to find looks you like and can achieve is to see what the stylists are doing. This is where e-shopping comes in. Thanks to the internet we can shop anytime of day or night from the comfort of our couch, from any store or designer. We can browse for wild, crazy, practical, good value, couture, bleeding edge, cozy, glamorous or daytime, and gather inspiration along the way. Here are two great online portfolios of style to sample for ideas…

Chunk Your Junk!

The City of Frisco wants to chunk your junk! We say let them!

Like Etsy But Local

We were tipped off to this great Frisco-based online gift shop, offering lots of cute handmade items at really good values. It’s called Trendy Shoppes, and many of their designers are from North Texas.

Comings and Goings

Just in time for shopping season, there are some changes afoot at the Shops at Legacy. We spied some new storefronts and some exciting arrivals. Take note, if you haven’t been lately:

Tom Thumbs Up!

Still, I’ll happily forgive Tom Thumb, since I learned that their store associates managed to raise over $12,000 during their month-long fundraising effort for breast cancer research.
