SNO, OMG, SMF

"Diva B" gets ready for some serious shopping

Diva B gets ready for some serious shopping

(Savvy Night Out, omg, so much fun)

For our first Savvy Night Out, we went shopping, with cocktails. I know y’all have been eagerly awaiting the party pics (it’s like college!) and evening recap… here you go! From the gallery page, click on any one of the thumbnails to open up a convenient slideshow. Ignore the “View Slideshow” link; it’s not working very well today.

We started at TruFire Kitchen & Bar, where we fortified ourselves with rosemary chicken pizza, flatbreads, sweet potato fries, hummus, and their Latin Fire pizza which is unbelievably good (avocado and beef tenderloin on a wood-fired pizza? Okay!).

We enjoyed cocktails from 360 Vodka… the Savvy Fix was once again very popular (remember that you can walk into TruFire and order it at any time… you don’t have to wait for a Savvy Night Out!), as was the Blackberry Smash and Black Splash, which has freshly-muddled strawberries, black pepper and vodka — amazing… you have to taste it to believe it.

Then, we got on a disco party bus, where we sipped on champagne and cosmpolitans… and Jello shots made with 360’s new cola-flavored vodka. They tasted exactly like Cherry Coke.

We're ready to shoptail!

We are ready to shoptail!

Our awesome driver Marshall took us to Plano Centre for the opening night of Neath the Wreath, the holiday bazaar hosted by Junior League of Plano. There, we shopped and shopped and shopped, over 100 merchants from all over Texas with fabulous jewelry, clothes, gifts and home décor.

We also enjoyed more cocktails… JLP had three signature drinks: a lemonade one made with 360 Vodka, a 360 Double Chocolate vodka with cream soda, and then some pink strawberry tequila thing (we all stayed far away from that one. It looked like Nestle Quik!).

Neath the Wreath’s opening night also had a brilliant hors d’oeuvres lounge, where we noshed on tasty treats like fried pork dumplings, seared tuna on crostini with wasabi cream sauce, beef sliders, and a divine mac and cheese bar where you could customize it with bacon, chives, and mushrooms. (Oh yes, I did pick up that caterer’s card!)

We closed it down at Neath the Wreath, and Marshall was waiting at the door for us — we waltzed past the long line of tired ladies waiting for a valet, and onto our Savvy disco chariot, where we plopped down our shopped-out selves and all our purchases… and received goodie bags with a stiletto cookie and 360 Vodka inside!

It was insanely fun, although some of the attendees reported some morning-after remorse… apparently, when your inhibitions are down, the credit card bill goes up! Frisco Savvy takes no responsibility for overindulgence of shopping!

Although we do take credit for everyone who had too much fun. ;) Be sure to join The List to get a heads-up about the next SNO… coming in December!

Special thanks to our sponsors and event partners: TruFire, 360 Vodka, Rob Rummel-Hudson, and Allen Limousine. We couldn’t have nearly as much fun without your support!
