I Love a Parade

Many community groups will participate in the Frisco parade.

Many community groups will participate in the Frisco parade.

Back when Frisco only had one high school, its homecoming parade was a town-wide event that everyone turned out for. Now with 5 high schools and counting, the FHS Homecoming Parade has become the Frisco community parade, and it takes place this Saturday, November 14 at 11:00 am.

Usually held close to Veterans’ Day, the parade is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate patriotism and community pride. Floats, cars, marching bands, and all the fun you would expect from a proper parade will be on tap.

Even if you aren’t going to watch the parade tomorrow, check out the parade route so you can be aware of road closures and traffic patterns.

We might go (I happen to really love parades. Like, a lot. Like, more than normal people.)… but I might still be recovering from last night, so… maybe not.

Also, um… can you keep down the noise from that tuba? Thanks.
