Elf on the Shelf in Frisco!
Did you know that Santa Claus sends a scout elf to every family’s home during the Christmas season? This elf is magical, and after observing the kiddos’ behavior each day, he flies to the North Pole each night, and reports back to Santa who is being naughty and nice. Every morning, the elf stakes out a new spot in the house, so he can keep an eye on everyone.
You can read all about this magical little guy in The Elf on the Shelf, a Christmas story about Santa’s little helper who lives right under your roof. Your family can sit down together and read the book, which comes with your own scout elf that your family can name, including an Official Elf Adoption certificate. Your kids can share their Christmas lists with your elf too. And of course looking for the elf each morning as Christmas approaches will become a sweet holiday tradition for your little ones.
(Even the celeb moms know that a little bit of assistance from Santa’s elf pal will help manage the excitement of the holidays, if you know what we mean.)
Now, of course it wouldn’t be Savvy if there weren’t a special twist:
You can get an autographed copy of The Elf on the Shelf this Saturday right here in Frisco. Carol Aebersold, co-author of the book, will be signing copies at Heart’s Desire on Saturday, November 14, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
As you can imagine, The Elf on the Shelf’s authors are in high demand during the holidays, and in fact are only doing one other appearance in the Dallas metroplex this year. This is a rare local event, and a great opportunity to get your family’s very own scout elf in a special signed edition, while you meet the creator of this charming holiday tradition .
Make plans to take your family to Heart’s Desire on Saturday to meet the author of The Elf on the Shelf… and get a jump on holiday shopping as well!
