Sweet as Pie

This is so sweet it makes our fillings hurt.

This is so sweet it makes our fillings hurt.

In an age where it seems like everyone who can afford a Canon Rebel is hanging a “professional photographer” shingle, it’s harder to find the true artists, those who have an eye for light and subject and moment.

So we bring you Amanda Cutler from Pumpkin Pie Photography, based in Prosper. Amanda is a portrait photographer specializing in children and families, and her work with infants has a certain sweet Anne Geddes sensibility, only without the creepy factor.*

You can see full galleries of Amanda’s work, including high school seniors, at her website. Also check out Pumpkin Pie’s Flickr stream for a deeper (and non-Flash, for you smartphone browsers) view of Amanda’s work.

*Sorry to you Anne Geddes fans… but, you don’t think this or this is a li’l creepy? Just us? Okay, then.
